Refund Policy
We would rather refund you than keep money you regret spending. This page says exactly when you get your money back, and the few cases where you do not.
The short version
- Subscriptions: 14 days to change your mind, on any plan, just ask.
- Gems: refundable while you have not spent them.
- Telegram Stars purchases follow Telegram's own refund rules.
- No forms, no interrogation. One message is enough.
1. Subscriptions
Ask within 14 days of a subscription payment — your first one or a renewal — and we refund it. We do not ask you to justify it and we do not need you to have used the plan a certain amount.
A refund undoes the purchase, so three things happen at once:
- The subscription is cancelled immediately; it does not renew again.
- The premium access that payment bought ends there and then — you do not keep the rest of the period.
- Gems that came with that payment and are still unspent are removed from your balance.
Past 14 days, a subscription payment is final and cancelling simply stops the next renewal. If something genuinely went wrong — you were charged twice, the service was broken for you, you cancelled and were billed anyway — tell us and we will fix it, whatever the calendar says.
2. Gem top-ups
A Gem top-up is refundable in full for as long as the Gems it added are unspent.
Once you have spent them, that purchase is final — the thing you bought was delivered. If you have spent only part of a top-up, ask anyway: we will usually refund the unspent remainder.
3. Telegram Stars
Purchases made with Telegram Stars are processed by Telegram, not by us, and Telegram's own refund rules apply to them. Message us and we will help you get it done, but the refund itself goes through Telegram.
4. If you are in the EU or the UK
You normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right ends once the content is delivered, and by starting to use LipBytes immediately after paying you agree to immediate delivery and accept that the statutory right no longer applies.
This changes nothing in practice: our own 14-day policy above is at least as generous as the statutory one, and it is what we apply.
5. How to ask
Use the contact page on this site and pick Billing, or message @LBsup on Telegram, from the account that made the purchase. Tell us roughly when you paid and what for — that is all we need.
We answer within a few business days. Once we approve a refund, your bank or Telegram decides how quickly the money lands; that part is usually a few days and is out of our hands.
6. Where we say no
This policy is generous because almost nobody abuses it. If someone does — repeatedly buying and refunding, refunding after heavy use, running the pattern across several accounts — we may decline further refunds and close the accounts involved.
If you disagree with a charge, please talk to us before asking your bank to reverse it. A chargeback opened without contacting us costs us the disputed amount plus a fee, and we close the account when that happens.
None of this touches your data. Deleting your account and its contents is a right you keep no matter how a refund ends — we never withhold it as a penalty.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you paid, and the date at the top tells you when this one was.
We may update this page. When we do, the date above changes and the new version applies from the moment it is posted. English is the authoritative version — the other languages are provided for convenience. This page describes how LipBytes works in plain language; it is not legal advice about your own situation.
